Improving Veterans Care Conference

Northeast South Dakota AHEC, in coordination with the Black Hills VA Health Care System, is pleased to announce the 2018 Improving Veterans Care Conference to be held in Rapid City on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. This one-day conference will be held from approximately 8:30am-4:00pm at the Black Hills State University Center in Rapid City. This year’s topics include Military Sexual Trauma, Suicide Prevention, and Opioid Addiction. This conference is of interest to clinicians involved in the care and support of veterans/service members and/or their families. It is recommended for Psychologists, Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists, Social Workers, Addiction & Prevention Professionals, clinicians, educators, policy makers, law enforcement, and others.

Registration is now open for the 2018 Improving Veterans Care Conference. Please complete a separate registration form for each individual in attendance. Cost for attendance is as follows until September 3, 2018: $75 for VA employees and $95 for non-VA employees. On September 4, 2018, all registrations will be $125.

Northeast South Dakota AHEC will have conference materials available for printing approximately two weeks prior to the event. If you would like NESD AHEC to print your materials, we can do that for a $40.00 added charge.

Also, sponsor tables will be offered for $100.00. It will be an amazing conference to highlight any services or products that promote increasing veteran well-being.
